The 2011 Seniors Housing Construction Trends Report provides an overview of seniors housing construction starts taking place in the largest 100 metro markets in the U.S.  The report is based on data collected by the National Investment Center for the Seniors Housing & Care Industry, and summarizes construction activity as of March 2011. Highlights include a market-by-market listing of construction starts by property type and data showing seniors housing growth from 1985 to present. Properties covered include: senior apartments, independent living communities, assisted living and memory care facilities, and continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs).
